Improving The Lives Of Black Moms and Babies: Raising Awareness During Black Maternal Health Week – April 11-17, 2023

Wednesday, April 5th, 2023

Join us as we work to improve black maternal health with our transformative event on Friday, April 14, 2023, featuring the documentary film Aftershock, directed by acclaimed filmmakers Paula Eiselt and Tonya Lewis Lee. A pivotal and powerful panel discussion with Maternal Health Advocates, SJFMC patients, and providers will follow.

SJFMC provides compassionate reproductive, maternity, and pediatric care services to improve the lives of mothers and their babies. Transforming care through education, care coordination, and community outreach, we empower women of color in achieving the health equity they deserve.

We are dedicated to building awareness, activism, and community-building to amplify the voices, perspectives, and lived experiences of black mothers and birthing people. SJFMC advocates for the elimination of maternal mortality.

From pregnancy to childbirth and beyond our SJFMC team of dedicated health professionals are here to support and care for you every step of the way. Call us at 800–486-0131 to make your appointment today!
