a Flu Shot could Save Your Life (and Your Baby's too!)
During flu season (October-April), pregnant and postpartum women have an increased chance of illness (possibly death) due to bodily changes during pregnancy. Infants, up to six months of age, are also at high risk of severe or fatal illness since they are too young to receive a vaccination.
A flu shot can protect a mother and her newborn if she is vaccinated during pregnancy.
