National Health Center Week Events in August

National Health Center Week (NHCW) is August 7th through August13^th. This is a time when Health Centers nationwide host a number of celebrations for patients and government officials to showcase the quality health care that they provide for the community. “Serving Locally, Leading Nationally” is the theme for this year.

 Southern Jersey Family Medical Centers will host NHCW Events at 3 locations:

• Saturday, August 13, 2011, NHCW Event at Hammonton Center (860 S. White Horse Pike, Hammonton, NJ) from 9am to 1pm- Health Screenings (BS, BP and oral) & free immunization for kids with shot records, Kids Moon bounce, Music & Glitter Bug sponsored by Horizon NJ Health, Clown face painting, NJ Care applications on site, Nutrition & other health education information.

• Saturday, August 13, 2011, NHCW Event at Pleasantville Center (932 S. Main Street, Pleasantville, NJ)) from 10am to 1pm- Health Screenings (BS, BP and oral) & free immunization for kids with shot records, ice cream treats, Kids Moon bounce, DJ Music, Clown face painting, NJ Care applications on site, Nutrition & other health education information.

• Saturday, August 13, 2011, NHCW Event at Burlington Center (651 High Street, Burlington, NJ) from 10am to 1pm-Health Screenings (BS, BP and oral) eye screenings, free immunization for kids with shot records, United Health Care Community Plan to sponsor snacks and other treats, Kids Moon bounce, Water Ice, DJ Music, Clown face painting, NJ Care applications on site, Nutrition & other health education information.
